Scholarship Overview
The  “Hit the Books” Scholarship is a bi-yearly scholarship for students from the ages of 18-25. As a bi-yearly scholarship, this award is offered in the Fall and in the Winter. The next deadline is for the Fall Scholarship and is September 30 and the winter scholarship deadline is January 31 on annual basis.

Award Value
Each scholarship is worth $500 and must be used for textbooks and other “educational materials.”

Application Procedure
The application process for this scholarship is pretty simple: students need to submit a 500-word (or less) essay on the importance of education in their lives and “how the scholarship money will assist the students’ goals.” The scholarship also available to students who are able to integrate their passion/love for the bean (coffee) into their essays.
